During the previous stage, the improvement facilitators were given structured problem solving skills in order to execute the improvement projects. Because these projects have become more complicated, the facilitators need to acquire new skills. The best facilitators should be identified and given the opportunity to attend a Six Sigma Green Belt training course. After the theoretical training, the facilitators will have to first execute their projects successfully and use the relevant techniques correctly before being certified as a 'Green Belt'.
